Arthur E. Rubin was born in Fairland, Oklahoma in 1921.
Mr. Rubin is retired from the practice of law. He received his juris doctorate from the University of Oklahoma in 1950 and was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar the same year. Mr. Rubin was a member of Phi Delta Phi and the associate editor of the Oklahoma Bar Journal from 1978-1984. He is the author of "Property Division in Divorce," 54 Oklahoma Bar Journal 531, February 26, 1983. He served as assistant professor of law at the University of Tulsa from 1951-1952.
From 1965-1973 Arthur served as a member of the Oklahoma Industrial Finance Authority. From 1980-1986, he was a member of the Tulsa River Parks Authority. He was also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System from 1989-1991; a member of the Federal Judge Selection Committee for the Northern District of Oklahoma. Additionally, Mr. Rubin served as a member of the Tulsa County and Oklahoma Bar Associations. His areas of practice included family law and personal injury.
